The learning unit won’t start. What can I do?
Check your Internet connection, empty your browser’s cache and, if necessary, refresh the page. Alternatively, use a different browser.
Some of the content in the learning unit isn't displayed correctly.
This may be due to the bandwidth of your Internet connection or your browser. Check your Internet connection or try to open the learning unit in a different browser.
What can I do if I do not hear any sound?
Start by checking whether the learning unit has any sound. The home page of the learning unit states whether the videos in the unit contain sound and whether you may need a head set. Some of the learning units do not contain sound.
If the videos in the learning unit do contain sound and you are still not hearing anything, check the audio settings on your computer. Also make sure that the output device, e.g. your head set, is selected correctly in your computer’s audio settings and is fully functional. Also adjust the volume on your computer if necessary.
It’s taking a very long time for the learning unit to load. What can I do?
Check your Internet connection and, if necessary, close other applications and processes that are using the CPU. Alternatively, open the learning unit in a different browser.
Playback judders a lot or pauses. I can’t follow the content.

The content cannot be displayed in my browser. What can I do?
Check whether you are using the latest version of your browser and update it if necessary. Alternatively, use a different browser.
I’m struggling to find my way around the learning units.
Click on the question mark in the control bar at the bottom of the E-learning course. This section shows how to work your way through the E-learning course.
How can I jump to a particular page in the E-learning course?
Use the sitemap button in the control bar at the bottom of the E-learning course to do this. This will show you all the pages of the E-learning course and you can then jump to a particular page.
Can I download a learning unit?
No, you cannot download the learning units. They can only be accessed via the SEW website. This allows us to ensure that you always have access to the latest version of the learning units.
Can I also view the learning units when I’m offline?
The learning units are only available online and can therefore only be viewed when you have an Internet connection. The contents cannot be downloaded. This allows us to ensure that you always have access to the latest version of the learning units.
Will there be further learning units about other SEW products?
The digital learning opportunities are being expanded and developed on a continual basis. Please use our contact form to share with us the content you would like to see.
